Ottawa Valley Boxing Opens in Petawawa

September 21st, 2024 (Petawawa, ON) – Ottawa Valley Boxing hosted its grand opening on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at 12:30 PM. The new boxing club is located at 1959 Petawawa Blvd., Unit 3. The event started with a smudge and drumming ceremony hosted by Jason Newby and helper Trevor Pearce, along with friends of Mashkiwizii Manido Foundation.

Led by Noelle Shangraw, Owner & Certified Head Coach, Ottawa Valley Boxing offers top-tier coaching rooted in over eight years of competitive and recreational experience. Shangraw is a Two-Time Ontario Boxing Champion and brings her passion for boxing and a wealth of knowledge to the community. 

“We are excited to open our doors to the community and share our love for boxing,” says Noelle Shangraw, Owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Ottawa Valley Sports. “Our goal is to create a welcoming space where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive in the sport of boxing.”

Ottawa Valley Boxing provides diverse classes for people of all ages and skill levels and is registered under Boxing Ontario. The club also offers personalized 1-on-1 coaching and monthly memberships designed to help individuals enhance their boxing skills and achieve their fitness goals.
